We are very pleased with the installation of a Mitsubishi heat pump system by Combined Comfort Systems (CCS) in March 2024 and its subsequent operation over the past three months. Our first interaction with CCS, when Heathe Thompson (CCS owner) called us on the Family Day holiday in February 2024 in response to a message we left through their website the same day, would be the precursor to a great acquisition experience. Heathe's answers to our questions were informative and reassuring. Once the contract was finalized, he and his installation team moved quickly to have our system installed all in one day. His staff also compiled and submitted all the paperwork to obtain the relevant BC Hydro and CleanBC rebates, which we received very soon after submission. We strongly recommend CCS and the Mitsubishi heat pump system they installed for us to others considering acquisition of a heat pump system.

Combined Comfort Systems installed our heat pump a few weeks ago and it is a game changer. Other companies we had approached tried to oversize our unit but CCS was incredibly knowledgeable and I always felt they had our best interests at heart. As this was a non-ducted install, they took the time to figure out the most elegant install and the workmanship is absolutely flawless. We got several quotes and CCS was well priced but more importantly was by far the most knowledgeable in terms of what the best solution was for our older home. They explained all the options really well. The installation crew showed up exactly when they were promised and were extremely professional. They took a lot of care and attention to ensure the units were placed exactly where we wanted them, and they always cleaned up every day. Even the office staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about getting our grant applications completed for our rebates. Everyone has been fantastic to work with, especially Heathe, the owner.

CCS installed a heat pump furnace and a heat pump water tank for me this year and removed my old gas gear. They did a great job and walked me through the process of getting the rebates. The rebates are real! I did get $18,000 back which is amazing. The customer service was excellent. Heath went over and beyond on a couple of occasions. Sam did a great job too and was very prompt at getting back to me, even on the weekends. The products themselves are awesome! The house feels great in the summer and it's cozy now that it's cool.

Heathe was not the cheapest but he was filling a few special requests of mine that had others stumped and he was supplying a premium Mitsubishi unit which no one else had offered, with a big rebate available from Hydro. It was a three-day install and the new system is great. The house was warm when it was cold outside and now it is cold on the hot days. The outside unit is super quiet. When it was all done they submitted the rebate forms for me and all I had to do was watch the $4,300 go into my bank account. They know what they are doing and they care to do it right.

The record low temperatures plus a strong wind blowing off the ocean found the edge for heating our 50-year-old waterfront home. Remarkably, the heat pump was performing at these very low temperatures as promised. We continue to be toasty warm and comfortable. Thank you for working with us within the limitations of the house to give a cost-effective solution to replacing our oil heat. We are expecting about a 4 to 5 year payback on cost savings in oil, we are much more comfortable and have made a major impact on greenhouse gas emissions.
